NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Brazil defender Andreyna expects a difficult challenge when her team takes on Nigeria’s Flamingos in the semi-final of the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The South Americans will face Nigeria for a place in the final at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, Pitch 3, in Rabat on Wednesday night.
Rilany Silva’s side are determined to win the competition for the first time but must overcome an ambitious Flamingos team to secure their place in the final.
Brazil are also unbeaten in the tournament in Morocco, having demonstrated resilience in their victories over China PR and Poland.
However, Andreyna believes Nigeria will pose a difficult test in the semi-final.
“I expect a very tough match,” the centre-back told FIFA.
“Not just because it’s against Nigeria, but because it’s a World Cup semi-final. The team that makes the fewest mistakes and executes their game plan the best will win this one.”
The encounter is scheduled to kick off at 7pm Nigerian time on Wednesday.
