The 68th Annual Grammy Awards took place on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, with South African comedian Trevor Noah returning as host for the sixth consecutive year.
The ceremony opened with a major win for Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, who clinched Best Pop/Duo Group Performance for Defying Gravity. The night celebrated excellence across global, pop, African, hip-hop, R&B, rock, country, jazz, and film music categories.
R&B star Kehlani earned her first Grammy, winning both Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song for Folded. In the African category, South African singer Tyla edged out Nigeria’s Davido, Ayra Starr, and Burna Boy to win Best African Music Performance.

Hip-hop heavyweight Kendrick Lamar and pop icon Lady Gaga emerged among the biggest winners of the night with multiple awards, while artists from Latin, Americana, Jazz, Rock, and Gospel genres were also recognised.
