Popular Skit Maker, Comedian and Nollywood Actor, Debo Adedayo, known as Mr Macaroni, has stated that he will never vote any of the two major political parties, the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Newsonline reports that Mr Macaroni stated this while responding to fans who were probing his choice candidate for the 2023 general election.
Stating that he would not endorse any candidate, Debo said his choice candidate would not be Tinubu of the ruling APC or Atiku of the opposition PDP following his decision never to vote for the two political parties.
He tweeted, “That is your business!!! I have been saying it since October 2020 that I will never cast a vote for APC or PDP!! I can’t speak for others but I can speak for myself and that is final!!. Do with this information whatever you wish to do with it.”
Debo who said that Nigerians have suffered enough as a result of bad leadership asked his fans to vote based on competence and credibility, stating that the labour of Nigerians to get it right would not be in vain.

“Nigerians have suffered enough! We have a chance to change this country for good by voting in competent and credible leaders! The time is now! May our Labour never be in Vain,” he said.
Mr Macaroni added that the qualities of the leader he would vote for would be selflessness, accountability and passion.
“A good leader must be selfless, a good communicator, accountable, transparent, passionate, physically and mentally confident, goal-oriented, innovative, resilient and ready to serve the people. You are not doing anyone a favor by voting wisely. We are all in it together,” he added.
Debo reminded the youths who are mostly his fans of the October 2020 Ednsars protest.
“Dear Nigerian Youth, when that time comes to cast your vote, remember the pain and sadness from October 2020, remember the lack of an enabling environment for you to succeed as a citizen of Nigeria. By then, No one will need to tell you who to vote for,” the comedian stated.
