2 Days To Campaign, Tinubu Jets Out For Medicals, Reveals Flag Off Not 28 Sept

One of the major contestants for the 2023 election, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has traveled out of the country for medicals ahead of the campaign coming up in two days.

Newsonline reports that Tinubu traveled to London along with his vice-presidential candidate Kashi Shettima having postponed their campaign flag off to October 8.

According to the Director of Public Affairs, APC Campaign Council, Bayo Onanuga, the vacation will be one week for the presidential candidate, former governor of Lagos  State and his vice-presidential candidate, former governor of Bornos State to have rest before the campaign kicks off.

“He only took a week break for vacation. Although the campaign will flag off on October 8, we will kick off the stipulated September 28 date with a prayer in all the APC branches nationwide.

Onanuga further revealed that the party will organize road work for the APC presidential candidate to sensitize the public.

He said, “After committing the day to God, we will embark on road work in Abuja. However, I am sure the policy document will be ready before October 2,” he said.
