Yahoo School Proprietor, 13 ‘Students’ Arrested In Benin

An internet fraudster, Ese Isaiah, who operates an internet fraud learning center -Yahoo School- and his 13 students have been arrested in Benin, Edo State by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

 

Newsonline reports that EFCC media team said the arrest of Ese Isaiah and his 13 students in their learning center- yahoo school- followed intelligence gotten from the locality on the activities of the proprietor and his students.

 

“Operatives of the Benin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Thursday, December 15, 2022 arrested Ese Isaiah, proprietor of a ‘Yahoo School’, and 13 of his ‘students’.

“The suspects are Alex Aimuanosa, Jeremiah Umoru, Destiny Aghayere, Christian Oghenekevwe, Wisdom Christopher, Daniel Matthew and Gift Patrick.

 

“Others are Lucky Paul, Godspower Osatuohien, Edafe Isaiah, John Elvis, Favour Oseghale and Osas Egho, EFCC disclosed on its website.

 

The statement further disclosed that items recovered from the suspects include mobile phones, laptops and a Lexus ES350.

 

The statement concluded that the fraudsters will be charged to court as soon as the investigations are concluded.
