Chelsea attacker, Armando Broja, has revealed the reason behind his decision to join the Blues from Tottenham Hotspur.
Newsonline report that the 21-year-old has featured in six matches across all competitions for Chelsea so far this season.
The Albania international joined Chelsea in 2009 after a two-year spell in Tottenham’s academy.
He made his debut for Chelsea in the 2019-2020 campaign.
Speaking on his decision to join Chelsea from Spurs, Broja told The Players’ Tribune: “I remember going to a tournament. The Tottenham [Hotspur] scout actually came to watch another boy.

“I happened to obviously play well in that tournament and I got top goalscorer and I got the best player at the tournament, so they approached my mum and dad before I even knew about it.
“We moved over to the other side of the pitch and played the other team.
“We won 12-0, I think, and I scored 9. Straight after that, the two Chelsea guys came over and said, ‘wow, we want you’.
“When they said that, I did not think of anything else, I just wanted to join Chelsea.
“So eventually that obviously did happen, and I joined Chelsea at the end of U9s, the start of U10s, so I have been there since then.”
