Drama ended the Thursday Town Hall meeting held in Owerri, Imo State, where the presidential candidate of the APC, Tinubu and his vice, Shettima were snubbed but for the intervention of the state’s governor, Hope Uzodimma.
Newsonline reports that the town hall meeting was organized by the South East business community to listen to the plans of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, and his plan for the South East region.
However, the event which was going peacefully became chaotic immediately the APC vice-presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima mounted the podium to address the business community.

The business community rose up and started leaving the town hall venue for outside as a protest.
The chaos generated by the welcoming leaving of the hall by the business community became more disturbing that the Imo State governor, Hope Uzodimma had to order the security men at the gate to lock the gate.
In the live broadcast covered by Television Continental TVC, the master of ceremonies also advised the security men to man the exit gate to prevent listeners from going out. He was also reminding them that they were live on transmission.
When it became obvious that the crowd could not settle down for Shettima to deliver his speech on policies and programmes of the Tinubu/Shettima candidacy and how they intend to work for the development of the South East region, Uzodimma climbed the podium and ordered the security at the gate to close the entrance.
