President Trump has blasted Grammys and threatened legal action against Trevor Noah over Epstein Island joke.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that US President Donald Trump has sharply criticized the 68th Annual Grammy Awards and threatened to sue host Trevor Noah following a controversial joke made about him during the broadcast.

Shortly after the ceremony, Trump took to Truth Social to describe the awards show as “virtually unwatchable” and labeled Noah a “total loser,” accusing him of making false statements during his on-air monologue.

The backlash stems from Noah’s joke while announcing the Song of the Year winner. The comedian quipped that the award was coveted by artists “almost as much as Trump wants Greenland,” adding, “since Epstein’s gone, he needs a new island to hang out with Bill Clinton.” The remark referenced Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier whose private Caribbean island was linked to sexual abuse.

Responding on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “The Grammy Awards are the WORST, virtually unwatchable! CBS is lucky they don’t have this garbage anymore.” He also compared Noah unfavorably to other late-night hosts, stating, “He’s as bad as Jimmy Kimmel at the low ratings Academy Awards.”

On the specific joke about Epstein Island, Trump insisted, “Noah said, INCORRECTLY about me, that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton spent time on Epstein Island. WRONG!!! I have never been to Epstein Island, nor anywhere close, and until tonight’s false and defamatory statement, have never been accused of being there, not even by the Fake News Media. I may take legal action.”

The remarks have sparked widespread attention, reigniting debates over comedy, public figures, and the boundaries of satire in live award shows.
