1. Gunmen have abducted the All Progressives Congress Chairman in Ekiti State, Mr Paul Omotoso. Sources said he was whisked away on Saturday evening while driving along Agbado Ekiti-Imesi Ekiti Road. APC State Publicity Secretary, Segun Dipe, said the state party chairman was driving in his car when the incident happened.
2. Operatives of the Enugu State Police Command have reportedly stormed the Enugu State University of Science and Technology and arrested some students. It gathered on Saturday that the police invaded the university on Friday evening amid the sit-at-home order of the Indigenous People of Biafra that was substantially observed across the state.
3. Sokoto State government has set up a Commission of Inquiry to probe all land allocations and government assets sold or auctioned during the tenure of Governor Aminu Tambuwal.
