Tinubu Has Taken Over Ojukwu’s Legacy As Gburugburu Of Ndigbo- Adamu

All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain, Adamu Garba has said the presidential candidate of APC, Bola Tinubu has taken over the legacy of Odimuegwu Chukwuemeka Ojukwu as the gburugburu one of Ndigbo.

Newsonline reports that Adamu said this in reaction to Tinubu’s campaign outing in Ebonyi state on Thursday at Abakaliki Township stadium.

Adamu said, “Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the real next Mazi Gburugburu who has clearly taken on the legacies of Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegu Ojukwu. The Southeast is also sealed.”

Garba slammed the former secretary to government of the federation, Babachir Lawal and Labour Party spokesman, Kenneth Okonkwo for the attacks on the APC presidential candidate while speaking on Channels TV programmes.

Babachir Lawal along with other members of APC Northern Christian leaders on Thursday endorsed the LP presidential candidate, Peter Obi, for 2023 presidential election.

Babachir further revealed that in the build-up to the June APC presidential primary, Tinubu allegedly said he did not want South East votes.

Lawal also alleged that the former governor of Lagos and his running mate have hatred for the South East people.

Also, Kenneth Okonkwo, a Nollywood veteran, while speaking on Thursday night Channel’s Politics Today programme said Tinubu has lost cognition.

This, Kenneth said, was responsible for many incoherent statements and gaffes that the APC presidential candidate has been making in public outings.

In reaction, Adamu Garba described the former SGF as confused and Kenneth, a delusional.

Adamu said, ‘The more you hear Babachir Lawal, the more you see a person who doesn’t believe an inch of what he’s saying. Absolutely confused.

“The more you see Kenneth Okonkwo bragging, the more you see the impact of hero beer in action. Absolutely delusional.”

Meanwhile, the former governor of Lagos state, Bola Tinubu, in Abakaliki promised to address all policies working against the business, commerce and entrepreneurship of the South East people if elected president in 2023 election. He reiterated his belief in the entrepreneurial spirit that is the hallmark of the South East.

He added, “I have a record of encouraging Igbo businesses and investments in Lagos and will even do more if I become president.”
