
The Director-General of the Southwest Arewa Community Renewed Hope Agenda for Asiwaju 2027, Alhaji Shehu Usman Jibrin, popularly known as Sampam has congratulated veteran journalist and media strategist, Mr. Babajide Kolade Otitoju (BKO), on his appointment as Director of News at TVC Communications.
In a congratulatory statement, Alhaji Jibrin described Otitoju as a towering figure in Nigerian journalism, whose over three decades of professional excellence have left an indelible mark on the nation’s media landscape.
He expressed confidence that TVC Communications, with BKO at the helm of its news directorate, is poised to raise editorial standards even higher, challenging industry peers to meet a new benchmark of excellence.
According to him, the appointment reflects TVC’s commitment to professionalism, credibility, and robust journalism, noting that Otitoju’s leadership will further strengthen the organisation’s influence and competitive edge in the media space.
Concluding his message, the Southwest Arewa Community Renewed Hope Agenda DG reaffirmed his organisation’s commitment to deepening collaboration with the media in sustaining public engagement.
He stressed that the group would intensify outreach efforts, particularly within the Arewa communities across Southwest Nigeria, to promote awareness of the infrastructural and developmental initiatives of the Renewed Hope Agenda under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
