News Online gathered that this not the best of times for the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu as he is reportedly on the run following a major move taken by the Federal Government of Nigeria led by President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to a report The Will Nigeria and monitored by News Online revealed that Nnamdi Kanu, who doubles as director of Radio Biafra, is currently on the run following the official request by President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal government for his arrest and extradition from the United Kingdom with the international police (Interpol) on his trail.

News Online learned that the application of Kanu’s arrest was made by the government about two weeks ago through the official diplomatic channel at the ministry of Foreign affairs.
This is coming at the time Nnamdi Kanu had ordered a total shut down of the Southeast, Lagos State, and Abuja on May 30.

Following the request to extradite the Biafra activist, News Online learned that Nnamdi Kanu hurriedly left London, the United Kingdom where he was based for some time.
News Online earlier reported that Maazi Nnamdi Kanu has ordered the sit-at-home to celebrate those killed during the Biafra civil war. Kanu is a British/Nigerian citizen who is agitating for the Republic of Biafra.
