Osun: I will Be A True People's Governor All The Time- Senator Adeleke

The Governor-elect of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has promised citizens of the South West Nigeria state that he will be the people’s governor all the days of his administration.

 

Newsonline reports that Adeleke also promised to be accountable and transparent because of the hope repose on him in electing him in July.

 

The Osun governor-elect who stated this on Saturday in Osogbo assured that his administration will be “responsible and responsive to the needs of the state citizens and residents.

 

“Our administration will be accountable and we will ensure that we do not fault on the trust reposed in us,” Adeleke said, adding that in his regime “good governance is on the way.”

“Responsible and responsive leadership is here. Transparency is knocking at the door. I will be a true people’s governor all the time,” he assured the Osun people.

 

He further added, “We are in full possession of all manners of shenanigans ongoing within the administration and we call on bureaucrats not to jeopardize their career by collaborating for illegality.”

 

Senator Ademola Adeleke, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate won the incumbent governor, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the July 16, 2022, gubernatorial election.

 

The governor-elect will be sworn in on November 27, 2022.
