Governor Umahi has reportedly ordered Police to teargas Peter Obi’s supporters in Ebonyi.

 

Newsonline reports that the Ebonyi State police command on Saturday, 17th September 2022, dispersed members of the OBI-dient movement who gathered at the Pastoral Centre, Abakaliki for the one-million-march for the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.

The police teargas the supporters of the former governor of Anambra state who were believed to be numbering over 1,000.

The incident caused both human and vehicular traffic on the popular Old Enugu Road, in the capital city, on Saturday morning.
