The Obidients were urged to stay calm as Peter Obi speaks at Chatham House.

NewsOnline reports that the Supporters of the presidential flag-bearer of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, popularly referred to as ‘Obidients’ have been asked to stay calm during the former Anambra State governor’s engagement at the Chatham House in London, United Kingdom (UK).

Social-political activist, Aisha Yesufu, a top supporter of Peter Obi made this plea to her fellow ‘Obidients’ on Monday.

This online news platform gathered that Obi accepted the invitation of the global policy institution to speak on ‘Nigeria’s 2023 Elections: A vision for policy change and institutional reforms.’

He is expected to use the opportunity to speak to the global audience about his run for the Nigerian presidency and his motivation.

Yesufu alleged that some persons plan to distract Obi at today’s event.

“If you are a Peter Obi supporter, please do not say anything when you are in the hall. Do not react to anything.

“If there are people who stand up and start shouting, or doing anything, do not say anything. Just stay calm.

“That is the way you can be of best help to Peter Obi because if there is anybody who wants to cause a distraction, they would want to get a reaction from you so that it would look like his supporters are this and that.

“Your own is to listen to Peter Obi,” Yesufu said in a video posted across her social media pages.
