Obasa Reinstated As Lagos Speaker, Labels Journalists ‘5th Columnists’

Obasa assured his colleagues and the public of his commitment to working for the progress of Lagos State.

Obasa has been reinstated as Lagos Speaker.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Mudashiru Obasa has been reinstated as the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, but not without making a pointed remark about the role of journalists during the recent crisis.

 

Addressing the media upon his return, Obasa satirically acknowledged journalists, referring to them as “5th columnists” before correcting himself, saying, “Oh, pardon me, the 4th columnists.”
