Funke added that the time has come for Lagos to work for the Lagosians who are taxed daily by the present All Progressives Congress (APC) government led by Babajide Sanwo-Olu and not the few that have held the state to ransom.

The scrip writer said, “It is time to change the narrative. It’s time for Lagos to work for Lagosians and that is the true meaning of Lagos4Lagos. It is time for a breath of fresh air. It is time to vote Dr. Azeez Olajide Adediran (Jandor) for governor.”

The PDP Lagos State deputy governorship candidate further defined Lagosians as all those who have businesses, works, and houses and who school and contribute to the state treasury.

“Who are Lagosians?” she asked. “Lagosians are those who have businesses, work, and school in Lagos. “They’re taxpayers and residents of Lagos at large.

Funke speaking with market women

“Lagos belongs to this set of people regardless of ethnicity, class or age because they are the driving force of Lagos as a state. These people are pivotal to the socioeconomic growth of the state and are instrumental in fulfilling the mandate of actualizing the Lagos of our dreams which is to be a true “mega city.”

Funke further said, “It is time for a breath of fresh air in Lagos. We crave your indulgence, please give Jandor and me this chance of handling the affairs of Lagos state and we promise we will make you all proud.

“Your vote is your right! Vote Dr. Azeez Olajide Adediran (Jandor) for Governor. A leader who will govern in the interest of generality of Lagosians without seeking second-level approval or perpetually feeding the insatiable wants of an individual with our common patrimony,” Funke pleaded with Lagosians.
