NASIMS Announces Recommencement Of Npower Stipend Payment To Beneficiaries

NASIMS has announced the recommencement of Npower stipend payment to beneficiaries.

Newsonline reports that the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS), has announced the recommencement of Npower stipend payment to Npower beneficiaries.

 

This online news platform understands that N-Power (Npower) is a scheme set up by the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari on 8 June 2016, to address the issues of youth unemployment and help increase social development.

 

Newsonline Nigeria report Sadiya Umar Farouq, the Honourable Minister, Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development (FMHADMSD), is the Minister in charge of Npower.

Following the delay in Npower stipend payment, Npower beneficiaries have been complaining, with some taking to social media to express their displeasure.

A bit to put smiles on the faces of the beneficiaries, NASIMS has announced that the December Npower stipend has recommenced.

in a post on social media network, NASIMS wrote: “ATTENTION! Npower Batch C1: PAYMENT OF DECEMBER STIPENDS”

“The payment of December stipends has just recommenced early today 1/3/2022 after a long period of PROCESSING. While we don’t take pleasure in the delay, all unpaid Beneficiaries for the month of December will definitely get their payment. Thank you!”

 

Meanwhile, Newsonline reports that the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) is the central management platform for the administration and coordination of Social Investment Programmes under the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development.

 

The minister in charge of Npower, Sadiya Umar Farouq, is the Honourable Minister, Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development (FMHADMSD), overseeing seven (7) agencies as follows: National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), North East Development Commission, (NEDC), National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced People (NCFRMI), Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) and the recently created, National Commission for People with Disability (NCPWD). Sadiya Umar Farouq sits as the Chair of the National Social Safety Net Coordinating Office (NASSCO) management team.
