According to the Guinness World Records official Twitter account, they recently shared the updated chart of the most Guinness World Records titles achieved by footballers, and Lionel Messi has now taken the top spot!
Messi now has 41 records, which puts him one step ahead of Ronaldo, who has 40 records.
The top five footballers with the most Guinness World Records titles are Messi with 41, Ronaldo with 40, Robert Lewandowski with 9, Kylian Mbappe with 5, and Neymar with 4.
