NewsOnline Nigeria reports that May Edochie has shared the story of how she first met her estranged husband, Nollywood actor Yul Edochie.

Speaking on a recent lifestyle podcast, May revealed that their paths crossed long before fame and marriage entered the picture.

According to her, their first encounter took place at a General Certificate Examination (GCE) centre during her early years in university.

According to May, she had just relocated from Lagos to begin her degree at Enugu State University when she met Yul, who was then a student at the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT).

“Back in school, when I moved to the East for university, I was such a bookworm. It was always about studying for me. We didn’t meet at a party or any fancy event — we met at a GCE centre,” she recalled.

Looking back on that time, May described herself as a focused and academically driven young woman who was deeply dedicated to her studies.
