In Today’s Latest Npower News, Npower stipend payment news, we will be reviewing issues of Npower stipends payment, new Npower validation invites, and more things that Npower beneficiaries need to know. So keep reading!

 

There is a new update that Npower management is enrolling more preselected Npower applicants by inviting them for account validation. If you missed this update, read the details here.

 

While this is ongoing, 8 monthly payments of some Npower beneficiaries are yet to be paid even after the approval of the payment of outstanding stipends of all the NSIP beneficiaries was given before the last Administration left office. A situation that is causing beneficiaries to ask questions regarding their unpaid outstanding stipends

 

There is also a rumor that the former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs in charge of the Npower and other NSIP programs was invited by the EFCC to give an account of how she managed the activities of the Ministry while in service.

 

That notwithstanding, we believe that Npower always finds a way to pay its beneficiaries their delayed stipends. It might only be delayed but we believe that beneficiaries outstanding stipends will be paid soon.

 

It is important that as a Npower beneficiary, it is advisable to also search for other opportunities, that is why we created a Npower discussion group to share other opportunities that you can take advantage of. The Npower program is not a permanent job but a job employable and entrepreneurship empowerment program. As such, it is important to search for other jobs.

 

Nasims Rearrange Portal Login Method For Npower Beneficiaries

Nasims have rearranged the Nasims portal login method for its beneficiaries in the various NSIP program which includes Npower, GEEP, CCT, and NHGSFP.

 

The new Nasims portal landing page displays the list of all the categories of the National social investment programme. It simplifies the login process into the Nasims portal for all beneficiaries.

However, at the moment Only the Npower beneficiaries’ login page is active on the new Nasims landing page. Below is how Npower beneficiaries can login to their dashboard.

For those of you who are not familiar with the Nasims portal’s new login method. See how to login below:

1. Go to the Nasims portal https://nasims.gov.ng or https://ssp.nasims.gov.ng

2. Tick the circle beside Npower from the pop-up list and click continue.

2. What happens to the pending stipend payments for Npower beneficiaries? The new management of the National Social Investment Program (NSIP) is dedicated to ensuring the payment of all outstanding stipends for Npower beneficiaries in a timely manner.

3. How can Npower Batch C beneficiaries validate their accounts? Npower Batch C beneficiaries who have not received their stipends and need to validate their accounts can do so by following the validation link provided.

4. Is there any update on the handover of affairs by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs? The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, disaster management, and social development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, has officially handed over the affairs of the ministry to the Permanent Secretary, Nasir Sani, as part of the transition process.

What are the expectations regarding the future of empowerment programs? There is hope that under President Tinubu’s Administration, the existing empowerment programs will be upgraded and transformed into more permanent job creation opportunities, enabling sustainable and inclusive growth for the Nigerian youth.

Will npower batch c1 be permanent?

Npower beneficiaries are going be permanent. The federal government will sign a permanent appointment for all Npower beneficiaries before the end of this year.

How long does npower training last?

Candidates who have been shortlisted and are in the non-graduates category can apply. The Npower training programme is composed of three months of in-centre class training, an apprenticeship programme which will last for 6 months, post Apprenticeship, mentorship.

Why is my npower payment status showing processing?

From “PENDING” your payroll status will change to “PROCESSING” this simply means your money/stipend has been sent to your bank from Central Bank of Nigeria, again your chances of being paid at this stage is 100%.

Did npower shortlist stream 2?

Npower Stream 2 Commencement Date is on February 25th, 2024. News about stream 2 shortlisting has been announced already and the final list for stream 2 will be published on NASIMS portal.
