NewsOnline Nigeria reports that President Bola Tinubu has been given a three-month ultimatum to act or he would face serious action.
This Nigeria news platform understands that the minority caucus of the House of Representatives issued a three-month ultimatum to the President Tinubu-led administration to address the insecurity crisis in Nigeria.
Following a meeting at the National Assembly on Tuesday, the lawmakers expressed their intention to mobilize Nigerians to take action if the government fails to intervene.
Addressing reporters after a closed-door session, Minority Leader Kingsley Chinda emphasized the urgency of the situation, stating, “The government is therefore called upon to immediately take steps to ensure that the security situation in the country is normalized, and the caucus has also given a three-month ultimatum for the government to normalize the security situation in our country.”
He continued, “After three months, the caucus will take further steps to sensitize and mobilize Nigerians to perhaps take their security into their hands.”
