JUST-IN: Nigerian Army Retires 53 Colours, Issues 28 New Ones In Abuja

The ceremony being held at the Eagle Square Abuja also witnessed the issuance of colours to 28 newly created units bringing number units in the Nigerian Army to 81.

Nigerian Army has retired 53 Colours and issued 28 new ones in Abuja.

 

NewsOnline reports that the Nigerian Army, on Thursday, retired 53 regimental colours used in the order of battle.

 

The ceremony being held at the Eagle Square Abuja also witnessed the issuance of colours to 28 newly created units bringing number units in the Nigerian Army to 81.

The ongoing trooping and presentation of colours ceremony is presided over by the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammadu Buhari, dressed in military uniform.
