It Must Hurt Delusional To See That Peter Obi, Our Brother Datti Stand for Good Nigeria – Hakeem Ahmed

The Spokesman of Northern Elders Forum, Hakeem Ahmed-Baba has replied those fanning ethnic tensions in Peter Obi and Datti Ahmed tickets for the 2023 general election, describing them as delusional.

 

Newsonline reports that the NEF spokesman said the candidacy of Peter Obi and Yusuf Datti Ahmed do not represent Biafra and Fulani but stand for a national rebirth of the country for good of the country.

 

Hakeem Baba-Ahmed stated that Peter Obi, including al Igbo citizens and Datti Ahmed, including all Fulani citizens are moving towards a national rebirth and they are a Nigerian team.

 

Hakeem Ahmed made the statement in response to a Twitter user who is fanning ethnic cards on the Labour Party presidential and vice-presidential candidates.

Hakeem Ahmed said, “It must hurt delusionals like you to see Obi pledge to lead Nigeria, including all its Igbo citizens, towards a national rebirth.

 

This is why my brother is working with him. My brother does not represent Fulani any more than Obi represents Biafrans. They are a Nigerian team.”

 

The Northern Elders Forum spokesman after a meeting with Peter Obi stated that the Labour Party candidate has much to offer the country.

 

Hakeem Ahmed also called on Peter Obi supporters not to market him as an ethnic candidate and to be civil in their engagements with supporters of other candidates.
