Disclosing this, a lawyer, Baron Chymaker, said “One of their Chieftain told me that almost 80% of Northern Chieftains want BAT (Bola Ahmed Tinubu) to resign but his base is mostly the South and in particular Chieftains from the South East.”

The Lawyer had earlier disclosed that Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, was already making move to get party chieftains to disqualify the former Lagos governor.

El-Rufai said, “When you get to a certain age, you should thank God and leave others to continue.
“Since they said it must be Tinubu, we are watching. His energy is failing from what I saw of him when we were together the day before yesterday (Friday).”
