NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the highly anticipated 2024 Grammy Awards, also known as “Music’s Biggest Night,” is just around the corner. Set to take place on Sunday, Feb. 4, the 66th annual Grammys will hold at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, with Trevor Noah returning for the fourth consecutive year as the host.

The nominees for this year’s Grammys were unveiled by the Recording Academy in November, featuring renowned artists such as Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, SZA, and Billie Eilish.

The categories range from the prestigious “Big Four” – best new artist, album of the year, song of the year, and record of the year – to three new additions: Best African music performance, best alternative jazz album, and best pop dance recording.

For music enthusiasts in Nigeria eager to catch the live action, here’s everything you need to know about where and when to watch the 2024 Grammys.

When and Where to Watch 2024 Grammy Awards In Nigeria

The 2024 Grammys will be broadcast live on Sunday, Feb. 4, from 8:00 to 11:30 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) and 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. Pacific Time (PT) on CBS. Streaming enthusiasts can tune in on Paramount+ to catch the awards show live and on demand. Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers will have the added benefit of streaming the show live, while Essential subscribers can catch up on demand the day after the event.

In addition to the televised and streaming options, the Grammys are offering a “dynamic, expansive online experience” on live.Grammy.com. This platform will feature a multi-screen livestream during and after the live broadcast, providing an immersive digital space. Exclusive articles, performances, interviews, and videos will also be available on the website.

Premiere Ceremony and Behind-the-Scenes

The majority of Grammy Awards are presented before the live broadcast during the Premiere Ceremony. This portion will be streamed live on Feb. 4 by the Recording Academy ahead of the televised event. It’s an opportunity for fans to witness the excitement and recognition that occurs behind the scenes.

Host and Performers

Trevor Noah, comedian and former host of “The Daily Show,” will once again take on the hosting duties for the 2024 Grammys. Noah, who recently won an “Outstanding Talk Series” Emmy Award, is also a nominee for the best comedy album.

As for performances, Grammy award winners and nominees such as Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa, and Burna Boy will grace the stage, alongside Travis Scott and Luke Combs. The Recording Academy promises more exciting announcements regarding additional performers in the coming weeks.
