Full List Of 16-Member Committee Appointed By FG Over New Minimum Wage Salary Adjustments

The full list of the 16-member committee appointed by FG over a new minimum wage salary adjustments.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Federal Government on Thursday in Abuja, inaugurated a 16-member committee on consequential adjustments in salaries, to deliberate on issues arising from provisions of the National Minimum Wage Act, 2024.

 

The committee would also develop the template for ease of implementation of the approved N70,000 minimum wage.

 

Inaugurating the committee, Mrs Didi Walson-Jack, Head of Service of the Federation, said the decision by the government became imperative so as to maintain a fair and equitable salary structure for the federal civil servants.

– Head Of Civil Service, Didi Walson-Jack

– Chairman, National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission (NSIWC), Ekpo Nta

 

– Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, Ismaila Abubakar

– Permanent Secretary, General Service Office (OSGF), Nnamdi Maurice Mbaeri

– Permanent Secretary, Service Welfare Office (OHCSF), Comfort Adeosun

– Director-General, Budget Office of the Federation, Tanimu Yakubu

– Secretary, National Assembly Service Commission, Lucky Ikharo

– Secretary, Federal Judicial Service Commission, Halimatu Abdullahi Turaki

On the Labour Side, the committee includes:

Comrade Benjamin Anthony – National Vice President Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and National Chairman – Joint National Public Service Negotiating Council-Trade Union Side (JNPSNC-TUS)

Comrade Oluwole Adeleye Sunday – National President, Nigeria Civil Service Union (NCSU) and National Vice President Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC)

Comrade Kabiru Minjibir – National President – Medical and Health Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MHWUN)

Comrade Michael Nnachi – National President, National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM)
