Nyesom Wike has vowed not to support Governor Fubara’s re-election for lying against him.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has accused the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, of lying against him.

Wike, who made the declaration on Friday during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, vowed never to support Governor Fubara in his political life again.

According to him, Governor Fubara would not have emerged victorious at the polls if not for the labour of those who supported him and built structures.

During the interview, Wike also refused attempts by the anchor to describe Governor Fubara as his political godson.

The Minister denied allegations of demanding funds from Fubara or the Rivers State government, adding that the Governor has abandoned those who worked for him and spreading lies about him demanding money.

“Call Me An APC Mole” – Wike Dares PDP Govs, Leaders

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Friday, dared any Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governor and leader, to come on national television and call him a mole.

In an interview on a Channels Television Political Programme, Politics Today, Wike issued this threat in Abuja.

The FCT minister said, “Before I accepted my appointment as Minister, I wrote a letter to the PDP in my state, I wrote a letter to the PDP in my zone; I wrote a letter to the PDP national, who in PDP is saying I’m a mole, name names.

“The problem we have in this country is that some people think they’re smart. What I want to do I will do, what I don’t want to do I will not do.

“I dare any body in PDP, I dare any governor, I dare any National Working Committee member to come on national television to say I’m a mole.

“In 2023, did I not say I won’t support the PDP (Presidential) candidate because it is against equity, it is against fairness? Did I do it at the back?

“Did the PDP not win the governorship? Did the PDP not win the National Assembly? Did PDP not win the state assembly? I challenge any of them in any of this (PDP) states who won 100 percent as we have. How did we do it? Leadership!”

He described himself as a man of his words.
