Former Speaker, Yakubu Dogara has appealed to Osinbajo and South-East to form a formidable force with Bola Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate.
Newsonline reports that the former speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara made the appeal in a congratulatory message to the former governor of Lagos State, Ahmed Tinubu.
Newsonline had reported that Bola Tinubu was announced the winner of the APC primary election among 23 aspirants after many had resigned.
The former Lagos governor, however, slug the contest with Professor Yemi Osinbajo, the vice president and Rotimi Amechi, Transportation Minister.
Tinubu emerged APC presidential candidate after garnered 1,271 to defeat his closest challenger, Amaechi, who polled 316, Osinbajo came third with 235 votes.

Dogara in his message wrote on his twitter handle, “I congratulate my Leader, His Excellency, Senator @officialABAT on this historic victory and emergence as the standard flag-bearer of our great party @OfficialAPCNg.
“I urge all aspirants to close ranks & form a formidable force ahead of the #2023NigeriaElections.”
Newsonline reports that the emergence of Tinubu as the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, has been criticized by Igbo Socio-cultura organization.
Ohanaeze Ndigbo said the refusal of the main political parties to give South-East aspirants opportunity was a call for disunity.
