The EFCC has commenced the auction of 160 forfeited houses, plots of land, and other properties.
Newsonline reports that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has concluded plans to auction properties that are subjects of final forfeiture orders.

The commission has invited interested persons or organisations to submit bids for the forfeited properties latest by 12:00 noon on Monday, January 9, 2023.
The EFCC, on Wednesday, released details of the properties situated in Abuja,Lagos, Port Harcourt and other parts of the country.
The agency said the forfeited assets to be auctioned include 122 houses, 18 plots of land, a diesel tanker and a generator.
“The auction is open to members of the public with the exception of individuals/corporate entities who have been/or are being prosecuted by the EFCC; Directors of such companies and employees of the EFCC,” the statement reads.
The commission said the final forfeiture of the auctioned properties is in accordance with the EFCC (Establishment) Act, 2004, Public Procurement Act, 2007 and the Proceeds of Crime (Recovery and Management) Act, 2022.
