NewsOnline Nigeria reports that celebrity Nigerian cryptocurrency entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, has been remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre following his arraignment before the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Blord was arraigned on Thursday, April 1, 2026, on multiple charges including impersonation and forgery, according to court proceedings.
The case stems from allegations that the crypto entrepreneur falsely impersonated controversial social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, in promotional materials.
Following the court session, VeryDarkMan shared a video on Instagram showing Blord being escorted from the court premises to prison custody. He alleged that Ifejirika had used his name and image without consent to promote a product launch.
According to him, Blord allegedly forged flight tickets bearing his name and claimed he was travelling to Onitsha to participate in the launch of a gadget application linked to the entrepreneur.
VeryDarkMan also alleged that Blord falsely claimed he paid him ₦500 million to serve as a brand ambassador and that he endorsed the Billpoint app, allegations he strongly denied.
The activist further stated that promotional materials, including billboards and flyers carrying his image, were produced without his approval, creating the impression of a partnership between both parties.
Following the court proceedings, Blord was ordered to remain in custody at the Kuje Correctional Centre for 26 days pending further legal proceedings.
The case is expected to continue before the Federal High Court in Abuja as the court reviews the charges brought against the entrepreneur.
