The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesome Wike, has disclaimed news making rounds that the G-5 governors have reached an agreement with the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu.
Newsonline reports also warned that what happened in London is introduction to trouble that will befall the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leadership if they do not leave the governors of integrity group alone.

The Rivers State governor stated this on Friday while speaking in PortHarcourt after returning back from London.
Wike said, “We have not reached any deal with anybody… when we do, we would let you know…leave G5 alone and focus on yourself.”
He added, ‘you tell Nigerians you don’t border, but you can’t leave G-5 alone,” a reference to the leadership of the PDP.
Speaking on speculated sanction by the PDP, he said there is no trouble, adding “what we have is introduction to trouble that will come.”
Wike refuted that he did not have any interviews with any media organization in London. He added there is no need to speculate on what he would do because he does not hide what he intends to do
“Do you need to speculate?” He asked. “You know when I want to do something, I do.”
He added that PDP cannot threaten members of the G-5 governors because they had meeting with APC candidate. According to him, Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate have held meetings with APC governors in Dubai.
