President Tinubu Government has failed to deliver $100,000 gift each to Super Falcons.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the captain of Nigeria’s Super Falcons, Rasheedat Ajibade, has revealed that the team is yet to receive the $100,000 gift announced by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking in an interview with Chude, Ajibade asked Nigerians to be patient, explaining that even the players themselves have not received the promised funds.

She said,
“We have not received the money, but they will pay. All the promises are yet to be received. People have already shared the money we haven’t received (laughs), but we have not received it yet.”

The gifts were promised after the Super Falcons’ historic WAFCON victory, where they defeated the host nation, Morocco, in a stunning comeback. In addition to the cash gifts, President Tinubu had pledged a three-bedroom apartment for each player and $50,000 for the technical team.
