Daniel Bwal has revealed that President Tinubu will reshuffle his cabinet in a few weeks.
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the former spokesman for the Atiku Abubakar/Ifeanyi Okowa presidential campaign in the 2023 presidential election, Daniel Bwala, has asserted that President Bola Tinubu will soon reshuffle his cabinet.
This Nigeria news platform understands that Bwala disclosed this in a statement where he lampooned Senate Chief Whip, Mohammed Ali Ndume, following his recent remark about the incumbent administration.
During a BBC Hausa interview on Wednesday, Ndume mentioned that the federal government’s failure to tackle security problems and various other issues presents a significant obstacle.

Ndume also pointed out that certain ministers are not able to have discussions with President Tinubu regarding these issues.
“The major problem with this government is that its doors are closed, to the extent that even some ministers cannot see the President, not to mention members of the National Assembly, who do not have the opportunity to meet with him and discuss the issues affecting their constituencies,” Ndume had said.
Also at the National Assembly, the lawmaker told reporters that the president had lost touch with reality as some forces had caged him at Aso Rock.
On Friday, Bwala mentioned in a press release that there has been an evaluation of the present government’s ministers, and it is expected that President Tinubu will announce a new lineup of ministers in a few weeks.
He mentioned that Senator Ndume frequently criticizes President Tinubu’s government and its ministers.
However, Bwala said it is important to remember that several of the individuals labelled as “cabinet members” were selected by individuals like him (Ndume), including governors and party leaders from various states within the Federation.
He added: “And Mr. President has repeatedly told whoever cared to listen that he would not run a cabinet that is not prone to reshufflement like Nigerians witnessed under former President Muhammadu Buhari.
“Only recently, the assessment of the current crop of Ministers was done. And in a couple of days or weeks from now, President Tinubu would unveil a new cabinet reshufflement.
“Why cannot Senator Ndume wait till that time to know if he will continue with his wailing and ululation? Senator Ali Ndume has continued to show that he is an overrated political beneficiary of our system and in endless search of his self-discovery.”
In May, President Tinubu promised to remove any cabinet member he believes does not meet the Nigerian people’s expectations.
During a gathering with the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) leadership at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the President stated that he would persist in his efforts to serve the nation.
“I thank the cabinet members for their efforts, but I will relieve any of them of their duties anytime I feel that they are failing Nigerians,” the president had said.
