President Tinubu has made 20 new controversial appointments.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that President Bola Tinubu has appointed 20 APC state chairpersons to lead various federal boards.

 

This is aimed at reinforcing the party’s presence in key government institutions.

 

The new appointees, who are prominent figures in the All Progressives Congress (APC), will oversee critical sectors, including agriculture, education, health, and more.

The appointed board chairpersons are:

1. Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas – Board Chairman, Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service (Kano State)

2. Mallam Muhammad Massan – Board Chairman, Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute, Ilorin (Bauchi State)

3. Dr. Austian Agada – Board Chairman, National Agricultural Seed Council (Benue State)

4. Hon. Macdonald Ebere – Board Chairman, Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology, Lagos (Imo State)

5. Ubong Stephen Ntukekpo – Board Chairman, National Institute for Freshwater Fish, New Bussa (Akwa Ibom State)

6. Chief Emma Eneukwu – Board Chairman, National Automotive Development Council (APC Deputy Chairman, South)

7. Aminu Musa Bobi – Board Chairman, National Library of Nigeria (Niger State)

8. Pharm. Abass Olayide – Board Chairman, Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Kaduna (Oyo State)

9. Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka – Board Chairman, Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (Yobe State)

10. Benjamin Omale – Board Chairman, National Orthopedic Hospital, Enugu (Benue State)

11. Rufus Bature – Board Chairman, Nigerian Coal Corporation (Plateau State)

12. Alhaji Abubakar Muhammed Kana – Board Chairman, Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies (Kebbi State)

13. Hon. Donatus Nwankpa – Board Chairman, Project Development Institute (PRODA) (Abia State)

14. Comrade Mustapha Salihu – Board Chairman, National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) (Adamawa State)

15. Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu – Board Chairman, National Parks Headquarters (Abia State)

16. Alhaji Abdulmalik Usman – Board Chairman, Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria, Ibadan (Federal Capital Territory)

17. Hon. Ibrahim Tukur El-Sudi – Board Chairman, Environmental Health Registration Council of Nigeria (Taraba State)

18. Sola Elesin – Board Chairman, Nigerian Institute of Mining and Geosciences (Ekiti State)

19. Emperor Jarrett Tenebe – Board Chairman, Federal College of Agriculture, Akure (Edo State)

20. Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani – Board Chairman, Federal Medical Centre, Azare (Zamfara State)
