Officers Killed By Shi’ites In Abuja

Police have unveiled the identities of officers killed by Shi’ites in Abuja.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Police Command has unveiled the identities of the officers who were murdered by members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, IMN, popularly known as Shi’ites.

 

This Nigeria news platform recalls that the officers were killed when the Islamic group launched an unprovoked attack on policemen stationed at the Wuse Market Junction on August 23, 2024.

Officers Killed By Shi’ites In Abuja

 

About three other officers were injured and left unconscious during the attack.

Spokesperson of the Command, SP Josephine Adeh identified the slain officers as ASP Innocent Agabi and Inspector Alexander Odey.

 

While extending condolences to the deceased officers’ families, the statement noted: “As breadwinners for their families, one can only imagine the deep sorrow their loved ones are experiencing now.”
