This Nigeria news platform gathered that the first class monarch died on Wednesday after battling an undisclosed ailment.

He represented the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin at the unveiling of the new palace of Olubadan at Oke Aremo in Ibadan North local government area.
The unveiling of the new palace as reliably gathered was his last official outing.
He was conspicuously absent at the coronation of Oba Olakulehin as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland held at the Mapo Hall.
