BREAKING: Massive Protest Breaks Out In Otukpo

Otukpo residents are currently protesting the high cost of tuition fees at FUHSO.

 

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the residents of Otukpo in Benue, on Monday morning, took to the streets to protest the high cost of tuition fees and denial of appointments and employment to indigenes at the Federal University Health Sciences Otukpo, Benue State.

 

This Nigeria news platform gathered that the protesters who staged a walk around the Otukpo township and the temporary site of the institution lamented the high cost of tuition at the school and the deliberate refusal of the management to employ indigenes of the community in an institution located in their ancestral home.

FUHSO is a specialized university established to make education in specialized fields easier and more affordable
