Lagos International Airport Wing is currently on fire.
Newsonline Nigeria reports that confusion erupted at the international wing of Murtala Muhammed Airport this morning due to a fire outbreak in a section of the primary gateway airport.
According to a report from Nigerian Tribune, it was gathered that the inferno originated from a malfunctioning cable on the Tarmac.
Allegedly, the fire had already damaged a portion of the FAAN administrative office the previous night.
- “All passengers and staff were asked to evacuate the building while the Lagos State Fire service was on hand to complement that of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).”
