Police Clash With Tricyle Riders

There is heavy tension in the Meiran area of Lagos state following a major clash between Tricycle Operators and Police officers.

 

 

According to eyewitnesses who spoke to NEWSONLINE NIGERIA, chaos began after a Tricycle operator was shot dead for refusing to give an “N100 bribe” to an officer.

According to unconfirmed reports, the tension has envelope the area as several gunshots rang out as commercial tricyclists gathered and became irate, condemning the killing and calling for Justice.

 

As of the time of filing this report, it’s unclear if normalcy has been returned to the area.
