FG has released minors charged with treason for protesting against hunger in Northern Nigeria.
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Federal High Court in Abuja has terminated the treason charges brought against minors and other #EndBadGovernance protesters by the Inspector-General of Police.
This Nigeria news platform understands that Justice Obiora Egwuatu dismisse the charges after the Attorney-General of the Federation, AGF and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi withdrew the suit on behalf of the Federal Government.

The Director of Public Prosecution of the Federation, M. Abubakar who represented the AGF, had at the proceedings announced his exercise of section 174 of the 1999 Constitution to take over the case from the Inspector-General of Police.
