BREAKING: FG Files Fresh Criminal Charge Against Mike Ozekhome

Details of the fresh allegations are contained in the new charge sheet filed before the court, as proceedings are expected to commence following arraignment.

FG has filed fresh 12-Count criminal charge against Mike Ozekhome over alleged forged passport.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Federal Government has filed fresh criminal charges against Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mike Ozekhome, over the alleged use of a forged Nigerian passport in connection with a disputed property case in the United Kingdom.

 

The new 12-count charge was filed on Tuesday at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court in Abuja.

Also listed as a defendant in the suit is Ponfa Useni, son of the late Jeremiah Useni.

 

The development comes after an earlier case filed by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on the same matter was struck out by the FCT High Court. The charges had been withdrawn at the instance of the Attorney-General of the Federation.

 

Details of the fresh allegations are contained in the new charge sheet filed before the court, as proceedings are expected to commence following arraignment.

 

As of the time of filing this report, a date for hearing has yet to be announced.
