DSS has released Former EFCC Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa from detention.

 

Newsonline Nigeria reports that the Department Of State Services (DSS) has reportedly released the former chairman of the Economic and financial crime commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa.

 

This Nigeria news platform understands that Bawa spent over 134 days in DSS custody.

Newsonline Nigeria recalls that a new Chairman of EFCC was confirmed for the Commission a week ago by the Senate.

 

The New Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, has since resumed Office.
