BREAKING: Buhari’s Body Arrives Daura For Final Interment (VIDEO)

The convoy left the Katsina airport after Buhari’s body was received by President Bola Tinubu on the tarmac.

Former President Buhari’s body arrived Daura for final interment.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the motorcade accompanying the body of former President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Daura, Katsina State for final interment.

 

The convoy left the Katsina airport after Buhari’s body was received by President Bola Tinubu on the tarmac.

Recall that the presidential jet conveying Buhari’s corpse from London touched down at the Katsina State airport at about 2pm.

 

Buhari’s corpse was accompanied from London by Vice President Kashim Shettima, Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, and family members.

 

Buhari died in London Clinic on Sunday at the age of 82 where he was treating an undisclosed illness.

 

Following the news of his death, Tinubu had dispatched Shettima to London to accompany the remains back to Nigeria.

 

The immediate past president will be laid to rest according to Islamic rites in his residence in Daura.
