BREAKING: Bola Tinubu Wins Presidential Election In Ondo (See Results)

Bola Tinubu has won the presidential election in Ondo State.

 

NewsOnline reports that the All Progressives Congress, APC, has won the presidential election held in Ondo State on Saturday.

 

The result of the election was announced on Monday morning by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, at its state headquarters in Alagbaka, Akure, the state capital.

The announcement was done after the arrival of Collation Officers at the INEC office where presentation of results was done.

 

While announcing the result, the Returning Officer in the state for the Presidential Election, Prof. Abayomi Fashina, who is also the Vice Chancellor, Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, disclosed that APC polled the most votes with 369,924.

 

According to the result, the ruling APC cleared all the 18 local government areas.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, came second with 115,463 votes, and the Labour Party, LP, in the third position with 47,350 votes. Also, the African Democratic Party, ADP, got 5,612 votes.

Prof. Fashina disclosed that 571,402 were accredited, 570,017 votes were cast, while 19,009 votes were rejected.
