Bala Muhammad and others have been kidnapped in Zamfara State.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that suspected gunmen have reportedly kidnapped the Vice Chairman of Bukkuyum Local Government Area, Hon. Bala Muhammad Majidadi, along with three others in Zamfara State.

According to security expert Bakatsine, who shared the news on his X handle, the abduction took place Monday evening while the victims were traveling from Bukkuyum to Gusau, the state capital.

Bukkuyum is among the local government areas in Zamfara frequently targeted by bandits, alongside Shinkafi, Maradun, Zurmi, Anka, Talata Mafara, and Tsafe.

 

As of the time of reporting, there has been no official statement from the police or government regarding the incident.
