Bobrisky Pleads Guilty To 4 Count Charge Of Naira Abuse, Money Laundering

the self-acclaimed transgender, also known as Bobrisky, was arrested in Lagos on Wednesday night for allegedly mishandling naira notes.

Bobrisky has pleaded guilty to a four (4) count charge of Naira abuse and money laundering allegations brought against him by the EFCC.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Controversial Cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye on Friday pleaded guilty to a four-count charge of abuse of the naira and money laundering preferred against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, at a Lagos court.

 

This Nigeria news platform recalls that the self-acclaimed transgender, also known as Bobrisky, was arrested in Lagos on Wednesday night for allegedly mishandling naira notes.

The crossdresser was arrested for allegedly spraying and damaging the currency notes at an event.

He was also arraigned on a six-count charge but two of the charges were dropped following a discussion between the parties.

 

The court proceeding was still ongoing as of the time of filing this report.
