The exchange rate between the naira and the US dollar according to the data posted on the FMDQ Security Exchange where forex is officially traded showed that the naira opened at N436/$1  per dollar on Friday, September 9, 2022, after it closed at N434/$1 per $1 on Thursday, September 8, 2022.

Newsonline Nigeria reports that the data obtained from the bureau de change showed that on the black market, the players buy a dollar for N700 and sell for N708 on Friday, September 9, 2022.
