Atiku Camp has reacted as Tinubu thanks Wike for contributing to his victory in the February 25 Presidential election.

NewsOnline reports that the camp of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has reacted as the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, thanked Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State for contributing to his victory.

On Wednesday, Tinubu said Wike’s insistence that the presidency must return to the South contributed to his victory in the last presidential election.

Tinubu said despite the gossip, Wike stood his ground in ensuring that the South produced the Presidency.

He spoke in Obio Akpor Area of Rivers State while commissioning a flyover.

The President-elect described Wike as a man of integrity and very dependable.

Reacting, Atiku’s aide, Daniel Bwala, stressed that Wike stole and diverted votes meant for the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to Tinubu.

Tweeting, Bwala wrote: “Tinubu congratulated Wike for contributing to his election (selection) victory.

“Meanwhile, the votes Wike credited to him were allegedly stolen from Peter Obi’s Labour as shown on IREV.
