
Newsonline Nigeria reports that the Charity KPABEP Scholarship Programme 2023/2024 is now open for applications for Female Engineers in Nigeria.
This initiative, supported by the Federal Ministry of Environment, United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), is designed to uplift and empower women in the engineering field.

This scholarship is part of Nigeria’s Hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) Phase-out Management Plan (HPMP) Stage III Project. The project aims to reduce HCFC-22, a significant ozone-depleting substance, by introducing low Ozone Depleting Potential and Global Warming Potential technologies. The target is to achieve a 67.5% reduction in HCFC baseline consumption by 2025.
